There are two models of humidifier in NICU,
<F&P 600>
both above working normally
<F&P MR730>
General User Information
The chamber of the humidifier is filled to the Indicator line with
Distilled Water (Water for irrigation), this is heated by a
Hot plate up to 90c,
regulated by the temperature probe at the top of the chamber.
Mixed gas is introduced into the chamber where it picks up water in
the form of Humidity,
not to be confused with Water vapour, the Inspiratory hose to the patient
is heated by a heater wire
in order to maintain the humidity .
Note: Water droplets indicate the loss of humidity as the water condenses
out of the gas.
The temperature variation between the inside of the hose and atmosphere
will promote condensation.
At 37c we are adding 90 ml of water per litre of gas
(98.7%)
Solution:
Re connect the Temperature Probe, or
replace with a New One
Sensors and Circuits available

Hose Heater wire Fault.
on the 600 the same "Plugs" light will illuminate as
above however
in the display window it will Indicate "hoS" for the 730
the "Heater Wire" light will Illuminate.
