MY FRIEND

"MY FRIEND"

From the moment of surrender,
I've been learning so much.
It was only a matter
of where I placed my trust.
Making His ways my ways,
that was my focus;
No instant miracles,
or any other hocus-pocus!

Now I am so blessed,
and I finally feel so free!
From all the "opinions"
I was allowing to violate "me".

I found someone Who loved me,
Inspite of myself,
Never again will I abandon Him,
-to a drwer, table or shelf.

I found EVERYTHING
When I found my FRIEND.
My hunger for Him, (& His love for me)
won't ever end.

He's all that I have,
He's all that I need.
That friend is Jesus,
My Savior, my Friend, Who has set me free!

You don't have to be afraid,
sad, lonely or blue;
Jesus, that dear friend of mine,
He said He'd like to be your friend too!
