Himura KenshinThis is Kenshin. He's the main character. Kenshin is a 28-year-old former assasin. He has two sides to his personality: the kind, caring, defender-of-the-weak Himura Kenshin and the dark, cold-hearted killer Hitokiri Battousai. He's kind of like a father/protector figure with the gumi.
Kamiya KaoruThis is Kaoru. Although only 17, she's the head of her family's dojo, the Kamiya Dojo. Even though, she's always beating up on Kenshin, she's very much in love with him and gets *really* jealous ( ... Megumi ... ). She acts as a sort of mother figure to Kenshin, Yahiko, and Sano.
Sagara SanosukeThis is Sano. Hmmm.... what can you say about Sano? Rough, vulgar, kind, caring, and I could go on forever. I love him to death. He's the big brother figure in the gumi, especially towards Yahiko. Wanna know more? Visit the Shrine. *sigh*
Myojin YahikoThis is Yahiko. Hmmm... well... ??? He's a brat. Even so, he does care about his freinds very much.
Takani MegumiThis is Megumi. Grrrrr.... MAN-STEALER!!! I don't feel like saying anything more about this gawd-awful *skank* .... -_-
Ayame-chan & Suzeme-chanThese are those annoyingly kawaii kids that are only in the anime. They don't serve any real purpose other than to call Kenshin cute names like Mr. Bunny.
Sekihara Tae & SaeTae owns of the local restaurant that the Kenshin Gumi frequents, and Sae is her sister.
This is that girl that Yahiko had a crush on.
I don't have a whole lot to say about Dr. Genzai. He's the local doctor, and patches Kaoru up whenever she does something stupid. He's Ayame-chan & Suzeme-chan's grandfather, and Kaoru's too (on her mother's side, I think).
