8th Annual Great Hawaiian Jazz Blowout!

Saturday May 1

The 8th Annual Great Hawaiian Jazz Blowout was held May 1 & 2, 2004 on two stages set up on the beautiful campus of Kapiolani Community College. "The Wine Stage" was inside the Ohia Cafeteria and "The Lawn Stage" was outdoors (appropriately ;-) on the campus' "Great Lawn".
Oahu's Jazz Community is a fairly small but very supportive crowd of people and they were treated to some of The Hawaiian Islands' best Jazz and Blues musicians as well as some very talented visiting guests from all around the world! Mahalos to all those who helped make this event such a musical success and to all of the fans who came out for this weekend of great music!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take pictures of everyone that played during the 21 hours of the Blowout but here are some of my pictures from this fantastic, locally produced annual event.
