Jimmy was in a bad mood. He had run into trouble while in St. Joe. Someone else had come after "Wild Bill" Hickok. Another innocent by-standard got caught in the cross fire. This time it was a child of no more than 7 years of age. The little girl reminded him of what Lou must have looked like. Lou...that's it if he picked the right fight with Kid, then he's kill him. Then no one would come after "Wild Bill" anymore.

Maybe he's tell him about the kiss he and Lou had shared. What they almost did...That would for sure get him killed, but at the same time, it might destroy Lou's happiness. He knew he loved her to much for that. No, he'd have to pick something else. But definitely something about Lou. Maybe he'd tell Kid what *he* would if Lou was his. Yeah that's it, that would definitely get him killed.

Every thing was calm inside the bunkhouse. Lou was sitting on her bunk, writing in her diary, Kid was on his bunk, cleaning his gun. (Jimmy thought it was odd how Lou had chosen the bunk over Kid's even before they started "dancing.") Buck and Ike were on a run together, Cody was in town getting some supplies. Jimmy didn't know how he was going to pick a fight yet, he just laid down on his bunk to figure it out.

Lou walked out of the bunkhouse and Kid started to follow her. "Kid, don't follow me," she pleaded.

Kid sat back down on his bunk and she went out the door.

"Letting your woman do your thinking for you, Kid?" Jimmy asked as soon as he saw the opportunity.

"What?!"

"You let her just walk all over you don't you?"

"Jimmy, what are you talking about?" Kid demanded.

"If she was *my* woman, I wouldn't let her get away with that."

"Well, she's not. Just leave us alone."

"If she was my woman, I wouldn've been on my bunk alone."

That did it, Kid jumped up and headed over to Jimmy's bunk with the inanition of beating him to a pulp. However Lou decided to go back into the bunk house and saw the anger in Kid's eyes and the satisfaction in Jimmy's eyes.

"What is going on?" she demanded.

"Stay out this Lou, it's got nothing to do with you." Jimmy said.

"Like hell it doesn't, you're not going to talk like that about her."

"Kid, leave it alone" Lou, begged knowing that if he started in on Jimmy, he'd probably kill 'em. Kid ignored her and punched Jimmy in the face before Lou could stop him. Lou had to find a way to stop him and fast. The only thing she could think of was to distract him. She pulled Kid to her before Jimmy's hand reached him and Jimmy fell over when he missed. He turned to see Kid in Lou in an embrace. Lou had Kid in a tight embrace with her tongue in Kid's mouth. Kid, who was returning the kiss, had forgotten all about the fight. Lou, still kissing Kid, started to walk backwards hoping that Kid would follow.

Jimmy got so discussed that his plan of suicide didn't work, that he went out back to practice his shooting. *Maybe today was not a good day to die after all.*

Meanwhile back at the bunkhouse, things were getting a little hot. Lou once she got started, had decided she didn't want to stop. As she started to take Kid's shirt off he protested. "Jimmy might come back in,"

"I don't think he will. I here gun shots You know when he's in this kind of mood, he stays out there for hours." She said as she pulled his shirt off, and started on his pants.

"What about Cody? He could come back any minute now."

"Cody just left a little while ago. I helped Rachel with the list...he's going to be a while." Louise said as she put her hand on his manhood and kissing him on the neck.

Kid stepped out of his pants and gently laid Louise on his bed. All the while Louise had a hold of what she wanted. As she gently rubbed her fiance penis, it grew hard. Kid unbuttoned Louise's shirt exposing her breasts. He took her pants off as well and slowly entered her. Louise's body responded with pleasure as she arched her back to help him go deeper into her. They fell into a lover's rhythm that lasted for quite a while. After he had brought her to the point of sheer pleasure, he let himself go and let his seed enter her body.

Only after they had finished and lay quietly next to each other, did Kid remember what they had agreed to. "I thought we said we weren't going to do this again until after the wedding"

"Do you regret it?" Louise asked.

"No, not at all." Kid answered. "Louise,"

"Hum?"

"I love you."

"I love you, too, Kid" Louise said as she leaned over to kiss him again. As they pulled away from the kiss, Louise heard that there was no more shooting. "We better get dressed before someone comes in. She said quickly butting up her shirt and pulling her pants back on.

Kid was dressed in a matter of seconds as well. He was just fastening his pants when Jimmy walked in. Jimmy just glared at Kid.

"Jimmy what's your problem?" Lou asked.

"I don't want to talk about it. Kid, I'm sorry I picked a fight with you."

*Is he telling the truth or is it for my benifit.* Lou wondered.

Jimmy just laid down on his bunk and went into a nightmarish sleep.
