Touring on Friday |
While in New York, we stayed at the Mariott World Trade. The hotel is actually in "Tower 3" which is a building adjoining the twin towers. On our way to lunch we walked outside of the hotel and Rob told me to look up :) |
We were heading to Jeremy's restaurant near the South Street Seaport, but we took a detour through the business district along Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange. |
Right next to Jeremy's was the Brooklyn Bridge. So Rob and I walked down and took our pictures there. |

After lunch we took the subway up to Grand Central Station and walked along 5th Avenue. At one point Rob's mother (Judy) told me to look south so I could get a view of both the Empire State Building and the World Trade. You can sort of make it out here... |
I wake up every morning and watch the Today Show, so I had to stop by Rockefeller Plaza. |
Still walking along 5th Avenue, we window shopped in Tiffany's and then hit Central Park. We walked along the southern edge of the park from the Plaza Hotel to Columbus circle.
