Rob and Tanya in New York! -- May 2001

Touring on Friday
While in New York, we stayed at the Mariott World Trade. The hotel is actually in "Tower 3" which is a building adjoining the twin towers. On our way to lunch we walked outside of the hotel and Rob told me to look up :)
We were heading to Jeremy's restaurant near the South Street Seaport, but we took a detour through the business district along Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Right next to Jeremy's was the Brooklyn Bridge. So Rob and I walked down and took our pictures there.
After lunch we took the subway up to Grand Central Station and walked along 5th Avenue. At one point Rob's mother (Judy) told me to look south so I could get a view of both the Empire State Building and the World Trade. You can sort of make it out here...
I wake up every morning and watch the Today Show, so I had to stop by Rockefeller Plaza.
Still walking along 5th Avenue, we window shopped in Tiffany's and then hit Central Park. We walked along the southern edge of the park from the Plaza Hotel to Columbus circle.

Times Square on Saturday
On Saturday before the wedding, I squeezed in a little more sightseeing with Rob's parents. We took the subway up to Times Square and walked north along Broadway.
As we were walking down the street, a member of our party spotted Henry Winkler walking along the sidewalk. We followed him to a nearby theater and he was gracious enough to pose for a picture with me :)
A picture of The Music Box Theater where Henry Winkler is performing in The Dinner Party and the theater for Les Miserables next door.
David Letterman's Theater (aka The Ed Sullivan Theater)
More sights from the Broadway area... the line of people is the "half-price" ticket line.
The wedding was at a church near Washington Square
