Sweet and Sour Sauce
1 can crushed pine- apples in heavy syrup drained, reserve syrup.
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 to 1/2 cup cider vinegar
In 2 cup measure, add enough water to reserved syrup to equal 3/4 cup; stir in pineapple, brown sugar and soy sauce. Cook at High 2 to 3 min. stir once. Blend cornstarch with vinegar until smooth. Stir into pineapple mixture and then cook until sauce is slightly thickened.
