hey people. you may be wondering why this section hasnt been updated in almost a month. That's because absolutely nothing has happened in the last month. Most of have just graduated from high school, and can think of nothing better to do than sleep till 4, party till 4, and sleep till 4 again. It's a vicious cycle, i know. But now we're preparing for our triumphant return...and trying to finish off the y5 days with a bang. We're playing at the park 7-10 and maybe a few out of town dates. maybe dancin in the district, and maybe a party or two. But we'll be in touch. Look for the yellow five spinoff, coming soon to theatres (or pizza places) everywhere. It's been real. It's been fun. It's been real fun. Thanks for the support

Hello. In pondering the many questions of life (ie. How many licks it takes to reach the center of a tootsie pop, or how many million times Nathan has voted himself "adorable" on the quiz), the hired researchers of Yellow Five have discovered a few things….One, you guys rock. The show attendance is at an all-time high. Two, never trust a man named Fieval. Three, bring Sour Patch Kids, to me (Matt) before a show, and you will win something real cool. Like a drumstick, or piece of tape or something. As for future shows, read the SHOWS section of the page. And for those of you too lazy for that harsh physical exertion, there’s one new show to mention. Indienet, Wednesday 6-2-99 7pm. In conclusion, there’s nothing mexican about a radish. Good day.

Seasons Greetings,
In the midst of trying to make a cd, book a tour, and find out what the hell
"disembodied" means, I’ve found a few things to be true. One, school is
meant to be skipped. What relevance that has, I know not. Two, the people
that always come to the shows…kick serious ass. (ie. USN and Harpeth Hall)
Three,…well I lost my train of thought, but regardless, come to guidos on
Thursday. Who knows, we might even release that damn CD. And Sunday is the
Indienet show, with Fair Verona, Joydrop, and Marshall Love…Three incredible
bands. The Guidos show is at 6pm and is $6. The Indienet show starts at7pm
(we play at 8) and is $5. CDs are $10 (a mere buck a song). Neil Mason is a sex god, maTt
Hello Lovemuffins
Hello people, short news brief. The HFA "dance" (yeah even we don’t know what
to call it), has been postponed to Saturday April 10th. Yes folks that gives
you TWO opportunities to see us play that day. And be sure to stop bythe 8th
Day on Sunday, see us and Lifeboy. Show starts at 6pm. Also, we’ve booked a
CD release party at Guido’s for THURSDAY april 22nd. It will be bumpin’.
Cause there ain’t no cd release party, like a Yellow Five cd release party.
Also, the Unity Fest deal is likely to not work out. So mark that off your
calendars. Peace out, and as always…rock on. This is Matt Bell signing off…..
Hello again. To those of you new to the page, there have been great improvements made in the last week or so. The addition of pictures, more graphics, and other things, have made the page much prettier to lookat. And a Band History, and Lyrics Page are both coming soon. As for actually band related news, we had to cancel the CD release party at Guido’s due to scheduling conflicts. The album will come out in mid-April, however, CD release party or not. I’m also currently working on our summer tour, and any donations, suggestions, connections or bribes, will be gladly accepted. Keep in mind, the four shows in April, and as always…come and bring friends. We love you guys. Keep on rockin’ in the free world. -mr big (matt)
