The truth is, I never used to see the point in Fanfic, but one day I was bored and decided to read "_But Not Forgotten" by Jai L. I've been a B/X 'shipper and avid Fanfic reader pretty much since then. Shows how good a story it was. Now I've read tons more B/X fanfic, many of which are just as brilliant. Try the ones listed here, I promise you won't be dissapointed, grossed out, or whatever. They might just change your mind.
A sequel to Gone.Which you should probably read first. Trust me, this story is amazing. Not only because of how well the B/X relationship was developed, but because of how imaginative and well written the characters Jai L created were. (Nicholas is everything Angel should've been)
An epic, really. It's how things should have been (in a perfect world) after Angel became Angelus.
Got to say, this one really knocked me back. I've only read it recently and it's pretty much WOW. If you're not moved at all when you read this, there's something wrong with you.
Ever wanted to know what Buffy and Xander may have been thinking while they were arguing? You'll find it in this one. The B+X arguement is done perfectly, and it shows what we all know the passion they create is leading towards.
A really sad/angst filled piece, where Xander has died and Buffy has just realized her true feelings. There could be hope and a sequel though, so sending feeback'll be the best way to get it.
One of the most original B/X pieces I've read recently, and if you couldn't guess it establishes the whole "Soulmates" idea between Buffy and Xander but by taking us back in time. This is a prequel to "Righting His Wrong".
A story set at the beggining of Season 4, Buffy gets over Xander with the help of Angel. A feel-good one if you're a B/X'er.
A demon from Anya's past leaves her in trouble, and needing Buffy and Xander's help. The demon isn't the only thing Buffy's left fighting though...
A very BTVS like style of story. Read it and you'll know what I mean.
