Character background:Randell was born to great warrior by the name of Uklar in what is now Europe. Uklar had asked the Gods for a son but instead received a daughter. He, however, raised her as he would have a man. She was given great power over his people which was uncommon for women in that era. Those who did not respect her where met with her father's wrath and publicly murdered as a threat to those who thought of doing the same. Growing up under Uklar's rule, Randell learned quickly the ways of her father and ruler - if you wanted something, you took it. Death was the reply to anyone that told her family no.
They traveled, belonging to no kingdom and taking whatever land they wished which was what began Randell's downfall. Uklar was in his mid-50s when he met his death which was an astoundingly old age in the days of no medication. He died with respect and dignity surrounding by his grateful followers. Left behind to take charge, Randell would receive no such grand death. Within the day, they buried Uklar and moved forth with his plans to head into the East. Randell was now the leader and she lead her men into and through all villages that stood in her way.
Proceeding into the East, they came upon a village of myth. The legend was told that this land was kept by people using the power of redirecting water to control the land and it's growth. When Randell demanded the knowledge, they villagers refused and one by one she ordered them slaughtered in hopes sooner or later one would give her the answer. Not one did.
She saved the eldest woman of the village for last and once more demanded the knowledge. The older woman just spat at her and cursed her in another language. She slit the woman's throat herself and from that night on, Randell slowly began to thrust for blood and became day by day more sensitive to sun light. Soon, she could not bare it at all. Her followers did not question her for they feared their own death as night by night Randell demanded sacrifices to end her thirst.
Her rein did not last and with in the following 500 years her people were killed off in great number. Randell excepted this faith and soon the her legend faded into nothing more than myth. She never remained too long in one place and disappeared from all view for great lengths of time. Through story and literature and sheer tests, Randell learned quickly what she was. It was not until the 1500s that she made a choice to create a child - Edward Harper. He quickly became her favorite companion for neither had many limits in what they would do for blood.
Character Personality: Cold blooded, Randell dislikes most everyone however she holds a few special grudges. She enjoys watching other vampires in action in an almost voyeuristic way but when a youthful vampire gets too big for his/her own good, Randell feels the need to bring them down to size.
During her pursuit of William, she was killed by Odium.
