Bunny In An Egg Card

Cut
Cut an egg shape from the scrap wall or wrapping paper. Trace around the egg on a piece of construction paper. Measure in 1/4" from this edge and draw a second egg shape, one inside the other as shown to the left. Cut out your egg on the inside oval.
Decorate
Decorate
Cut out eyes and nose from construction paper and glue onto the solid color egg. Draw a mouth and whiskers with markers. Cut down the center of the floral egg and slightly overlap the top edges. Put the brass fastener through both of these layers and then the bunny's face you just made, making sure the underneath edges don't show when the ears close over the face. Don't forget to write a special Easter message inside your card !

Trace And Cut Out
Cut out a large egg shape from a sheet of yellow construction paper. Trace around each of your hands (or a child's hands)on another sheet of yellow paper and cut out. Attach one handprint to each side of the chick with the brads (brass fasteners).
Legs And Beak
Fold a sheet of orange construction paper in half and cut a triangle on the fold for the beak and glue to the front. Trace and cut out the chicks legs from the orange paper and glue to the bottom back of the card.

Glue on the wiggly eyes and write your own personal Easter message.
