"You look adorable," Kirsten assured him.
"Yeah," Leigh Anne said defensively. "You look great."
"But I'm fat!" Nick said, a stricken look on his face.
"Nick, you are not fat," Kirsten said firmly.
"But if you wanna go on a diet with me, I'm willing!" Leigh Anne started laughing, but controlled it. "I need to lose five pounds and I need moral support."
"And I don't give it?" Brian asked.
"Of course you do, baby, but not when I'm dieting!" Leigh Anne said, adjusting Nick's eye-length blonde hair.
"That's because you're already beautiful," Brian grabbed Leigh Anne around the waist and pulled her towards the door. "Want me to prove just how beautiful I think you are?"
Leigh Anne giggled, running towards the stairs, and Brian chased after her.
Kevin shook his head at his cousin and turned back to Nick and Kirsten.
"Nick, you look fine," Kevin said.
"Hey!" Kirsten laughed. "I'm the only one you can call fine!"
Kevin smiled. "You're the only one I want to call fine."
"Aww," Nick muttered sarcastically.
"Yeah, yeah," Kevin muttered.
Nick turned back to the mirror and inspected himself in a black tank top and baggy khaki cargos, with a chunky black belt around his waist.
"You're gonna be late if you don't hurry up," Kirsten smiled at Nick and shooed him out the door.
"You look so good, I'm so jealous!" Krista Richardson laughed as she helped Angel get ready.
Angel smiled into the mirror at her best friend. Krista was right, Angel did look good today. She wished Justin could see her this beautiful.
Wait! Angel thought, alarmed. Justin's my best friend, I don't like him like that! I'm going out with Nick! Nick, Nick, Nick!
Angel stood in front of the mirror convincing herself she liked Nick, but the truth was, Justin had bought her that outfit to go clubbing with him on her eighteenth birthday.
