The celebration of Karen
New Year was held by Karen community in London, UK on the 8th of
January, 2000. About 50 people showed up for the ceremony. They sang Karen
National Anthem and salute Karen National Flag. Several people gave valuable
speeches. The ceremony was concluded with a short pray for Karen people
all over the world.
After the ceremony,
group photos were taken and traditional lunch was served.
