When walking on an evil road the way all bleak and dim
Oh, how I wish to turn about and go back home again
When stroking in the sea of life just trying to find my way
Oh, how I wish just to return to a stable different day
I stop the marching of my path to see the way unclear
I hesitate to start to think again, I hear my steady breath
I must now start my march again, not stopping once to rest
I can live at home no more, I must fend for my own
When once there was the strength of all I must now stand alone
So while there is breath in me and while my hand is strong
I stand alone to fight my war and sing my victory song.
I will win, I just have to have patience.
