We have so much in common,
and i thought there was a future for us.
But you left.
My feelings for you have never changed,
or dwindled, or lessened.

I look around and see couples,
and wonder what might have been.
Is it just me?
You have been gone now for nearly a year,
And I thought I was over you.
But you are back.
The minute I saw you I knew I was not over you,
And I doubt I will be for quite some time,
But you are leaving.
I thought we could start again,
But there is talk of going back.
