My MILLENIUM Review
Ok.... since I know that you were all just DYING to know what I think about the new album. (Ya right, but then again, why would you be reading this if you didn't care what I thought?? :)
Larger Than Life 1/5 When I first heard this song, I really, really didn't like it. As a matter of fact, I still don't like it all that much, only because it seems really, REALLY cheesy and obnoxious to me. Its one thing to be thankful to the fans, but to write a song about it??
I Want It That Way 5/5 This song was the entire reason I bought this Cd... I just couldn't get the damn tune out of my head for days at a time. And it was the first time I had heard Kevin's voice on its own, and I was amazed!
Show me the meaning 5/5 Another favourite of mine... it's such a beautiful song, and everyone gets a chance to sing. Not just one or two of them, which makes it that much more enjoyable.
Its Gotta Be You 3/5 Is it just me or does this one sound almost exactly like "Everybody"? I just kinda figured, new album, new songs.... I don't know if its just me...
I Need You Tonight 4/5 Although I'm not a fan of Nick's, I must say his voice sounds much more mature on this track than on the other albums...
Don't Want You Back 4/5 A pretty cool song, except for the "backstreet's back" thing... what is it with recycling?
Don't Wanna Lose You Now 5/5 I REALLY, REALLY like this song!! It's very beautiful and Brian's voice sounds great in it.
The One 3.5/5 Well, I don't know what to say about this one, other than its one of those fun songs the BSB has become known for. The only thing going for it is that Brian wrote it.
Back To Your Heart 5/5 This song blew me away the first time I heard it! Its a shame for Kevin that his talents were not used before "Millenium" because he has added a great song to this album. It sounds much more mature than the previous ballads they have sung.
Spanish Eyes 4/5 I like this song as well, Howie's voice sounds great... Brian's too.
No One Else Comes Close 3.5/5 I'm not a big fan of this one, its a little boring to listen to.... no flashy vocals on any of the Boys parts...
The Perfect Fan 4.5/5 This song is great... not perfect mind you, since some of the rhythms seem to be a little off with the fitting of the words... probably just me though. Its great to see the Boys haven't forgotten where they've come from. (But that's why we love them right?? :)
