My Son
My 15-year-old son is the most important person in my life. To everyone, he is known as J-D and he’s the most incredible person I’ve ever had the honour to get to know. He's a great kid with a sharp sense of humour and he likes being in high school. Over his summer vacations he loves to swim, play sports, go to the beach, skateboard, ride his bike and pretty much do everything kids love to do. I really can’t believe how at one minute it seems like a colic baby will never stop crying and the next thing you know they are off on their skateboard doing tricks that stop your heart with friends who are taller than you. It’s scary and thrilling all at the same time. Boy is he growing up fast. My son has a great personality and he enjoys playing sports, with baseball at the top of the list.
Since the Toronto Maple Leafs are my son's favourite team I put this image on. We managed to get one trip out to Canada's Wonderland this year and made it to a Toronto Blue Jay's game. We played some paintball & mini putt, went for bike rides, and a trip to East Park. It wasn't the most adventurous summer ever but it was good.
This summer I hope to get out horseback riding. He's already hit Disney World so far and a tour of the states between here and Florida. For the upcoming winter I want to get out and work on our skiing. Who knows, maybe by late February we’ll be so good we’ll take a weekend trip to Blue Mountain, Horseshoe Valley or Mount St. Louis. Also there will be skating and at least one good snowball fight.

My Family
I have only one sibling and she’s my incredible 35-year-old sister Mandy, (shown in my photo album and there is a link that takes you to her homepage) she’s dating a guy named Karl who lives in Missassauga. I don’t know how she manages her social calendar so well; I’d be lost. She enjoys taking tropical vacations every winter to Cuba, Dominican Republic, or Mexico. We get along great and I couldn't have picked a better sister if I tried.
My mom lives in London, Ontario surrounded by children with my stepdad Alain; they seem to be happy all the time. The house looks great and thanks for letting me do a lot of the renovations in the living room. You guys are so good to me.
My father lives in Claresholm, Alberta - we don't see much of one another because of the distance but I write. I hope you are doing well Dad.
I'm also lucky enough to have my incredible cousin Katherine (aka Kat) living only 20 minutes away from me. Kat lives with Meatball and Star in an apartment overlooking a field that sometimes has deer in it. Nice view.
