I'm adding a bit here to keep tabs of all the interesting places I'd love to visit someday if I ever get the chance to travel and why I'd like to go there.
Mackinac Island, Michigan, U.S.A.
During many summer trips to visit my family in Sault Ste. Marie we have taken time to explore this beautiful island. This would be a perfect honeymoon location.
Dan lives there. That's reason enough but it's more than that. I found it incredible and would love the opportunity to show J-D some of what I saw and to take him to the Calgary Stampede. The mountains were beautiful and the air was so clear. I plan to add a link to Jasper which would also be an incredible location for honeymooners.
To visit Luis, someone special I’ve met online. We’ve been writing to each other for over 8 years now and it would be nice to meet him in person. That and I have this silly mental image of us sitting on a beach near a fire while the sun is setting as he plays his guitar for me. Sorry Luis, it’s not meant to sound romantic – just cozy. You could write a funny song about all the girls you’ve loved before.

I'd love to experience the excitement of Mardi Gras (and not for the topless women), have my picture painted by a street vendor, and to explore the French Quarter.
Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
The beaches look absolutely breathtaking, there are concerts & art galleries, and I’d love to taste the wines that are grown locally at Chicama Vineyards (the Island’s only commercial vineyard).
Well that’s it for now but as more places interest me I will add them.
