THIS WEEK ON "DAWSON'S CREEK" -- #307 "Escape from Witch Island"
WEDNESDAY, November 17th at 8:00pm (ET/PT) on The WB. 
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dawson persuades Principal Green to let him film a documentary on
Capeside's historical witch trial instead of doing a report on
"The Crucible."  Dawson and his film crew of Joey, Jen and Pacey,
venture to haunted Witch Island.  With heavy "Blair Witch" overtones,
the crew is warned not to stay past sundown, but becomes marooned as
night falls.  Dawson and Joey are caught up in the mystery of one witch,
Mary Waldeck.  Back on the mainland, Andie is appointed head of the
student disciplinary committee and relishes her authority.

through Capeside is. HURRICANE CHRIS!!

Congrats to Alyson who was the first correct guesser.  Also Anne, Ammy,
Anne-Marie, Amanda (the "A" names seem to be the quickest to write in!),
Carissa, Bballgod, Serenity, Cateye, Bryan, and Kristie were among the first

Dawson is debating whether to tell Jen what he knows about Eve.

JEN:  It's a need-to-know world, Dawson.  Sometimes what I don't need to
know, I don't want to know.
DAWSON:  How do you know what you need to know until you know it?
JEN:  You don't.  But once you know it, you can't un-know it.  Know what I
mean? 
DAWSON:  I know.

Andie feels badly about the fact that Rob fired Joey.

ANDIE:  I don't know what Rob and I are.  I just know that it's not worth our
friendship, Joey.
JOEY:  I appreciate the sentiment.  But don't break-up with that imbecile on
my behalf.  Do it for yourself.
ANDIE:  He's nice to me.
JOEY:  So is Mr. Charley the school janitor.  You don't date him.

PACEY:  You know, I was thinking, Potter, you're gonna need a name for this
new addition.  A suggestion if I may:  The Pacey J. Witter Wing.
JOEY:  Keep talking and it'll be a memorial dedication.

ANDIE:  I slept with another boy.  Six months ago!  Even then, I knew it was
wrong.  I tried to explain that to you.  How many times do I have to say it?
PACEY:  If you wanted to sleep with him -- even for a second -- maybe it
wasn't wrong after all.  Maybe it was your heart telling you that I'm not the one. 
Because that's what my heart's telling me now.  That you're not the one.

JEN:  Do you know how much will happen to you in the next two years if you do
them right?  Your heart will swell and break a hundred times before you're
sixteen. what you need right now is someone who not only understands what
you're going through, but who can also go through it with you.  And believe
me, Henry, everything you haven't done, I have.
HENRY:  Except fall in love.  You haven't done that or else you'd have
someone.  But you don't.  Which leads me to believe that everything you think you
know about love is questionable.  And as long as it is, you can't tell me I'm not
the one for you.
JEN:  Something you should know about me, Henry.  Something I'm only starting
to understand.  That until I can learn to look at myself without judgment or
condemnation, then you're right:  I'm not ready for you.  Or for anybody.
HENRY:  You know what you just said about my heart breaking a hundred times?

that you think they are?  Maybe underneath the stereotypes of them, there is
someone inside them who is not anything like they are pretending to be! 
They're just pretending to be that happy, popular, perfect, confident girl, when
inside there is some one else hiding and burning to get out!   -- Aleesha

"I believe that Rob did not attack Andie because she didn't want to go to the
cops about it and she told Joey that she probably overreacted.  Then at the
end of the show, Andie said how she could be when she sets her mind on
something she wants (Pacey).  I think that says it all right there.  If she
lied about the PSAT's, then she can also lie about the attack." -- Brianna, IN

"I seriously think Andie was lying about Rob assaulting her.  I just think she
used that as a crutch to get back with Pacey which is down right low.  I also
think ever since Pacey and Joey have been working on the boat "True Love" that
they are beginning to like each other but have kept it inside. That will be an
awesome twist on Dawson's Creek.  Also Jen shouldn't be so cold to Henry, I mean
come on she used him for a date at the Gala and all he wants to do is be with her. 
I think he deserves at least a real date or a kiss from her since he did go on
the date with her.  I hope eventually Jen will come to her senses and really see

I'm very pleased that you don't feel the need to make all 8 characters have
equal screen time.  Dawson's slightly smaller role last night was refreshing!
However, that doesn't mean you need to omit them entirely... Jack's sister almost
got raped, and his two best friends, Jen and Henry, were on a "date"... and yet
Jack was nowhere to be found.  By no means am I saying create a storyline for
every character, every episode, but in such a small town I'm sure you'd at
least pass Jack in the halls, or maybe Henry would've asked for some last
minute advice before going out with Jen?"  - The Paceman

Hey!! I love that we get to write in and say what we think now :):)!!! I thought
that this episode was really really good. The whole scenario about Pacey and Andie
was so so awesome, and i'm happy that Pacey finally realized that he was fine
without Andie, and that he had enough guts to dump her!!!  I also have some
feeling that Joey likes Pacey... hmmm... what could come of this, i don't know, but
I enjoy it all the same!!!" -- Heather, age 15

"Hi everyone! The episode was... normal. My personal opinion is that Andie
made up the whole story about Rob to get Pacey back. Andie and Pacey MADE a
great couple, but the second time around would be worse if they got to be a
couple again. Wrong type of music for the ending. They should really put some
familiar songs in the episodes. Gail getting fired for being too old wasn't
nice at all. Gail and Mitch together at the end (well sorta') was very cute.
My parents aren't divorced, but if they were separated, I'd want them back
together again. Come on, people!  Dawson and Joey should totally be a couple
again. I'm sure many fellow "creekers" agree.  But they didn't even have one
scene together in this episode! Jen and Pacey kissing in next week's episode?
Cool! 'Cuz that will leave Joey and Dawson plenty of time to evaluate their
relationship at the Witch place. Henry (or Hank) is such a sweetheart. But I do
agree that he and Jen shouldn't be together. He's too young.  But he'd be perfect

"I just wanted to send a little something to maybe persuade the writers to go
in a different direction (if they aren't already!).  I think that Pacey and
Joey should be made into a couple.  There has been some innuendoes made, and
I'm very eager to see this happen!!  We were teased Season 1, and now is a
great time for the two of them to come together!!!  As a dedicated fan,
pairing Joey and Pacey would make for some interesting storylines!!  I heard
a rumor that Pacey and Jen may be hooking up???  I hope not!!" -- Erona

VIDEOS -- We don't have a lot of info on this subject.  We wanted to sell
Season One & Two episodes but found out that we don't have the rights for another
couple of years.  We do not know when videos will be sold... but someday they will
be for sale.  In the meantime, keep watching (and taping!) the episodes!

BODIE -- Bodie is working on as a chef a cruise ship off the coast of Florida.

attached to METAL GOD, however Jennifer's interest is
unrelated. And it's all for a good cause: the opportunity to
ride screen time with ex-Funky Buncher, Mark Wahlberg. Plus,
his new THREE KINGS buddy, George Clooney, is set to
produce the film, which is based on a true story of the
paperclip salesman who joined JUDAS PRIEST. From Pitt to
