The enthusiasm for a high school wrestling team was contagious and almost daily throughthe winter, more young men gave it a try. Only a few high schools in the srea sported team as meets were difficult to arrange.
However the participation of so many students and the encouragement by local citizens to continue the sport led Supt. A.R. Tiffany to obtain a coach and proper facilities for future teams.
