Another undefeated season which ran Cresco High Scolls undefeated dual streak to 14 in a row. This was an especially strong team, defeating all their dual meet opponents handily.

This team cotained many young men who would go on to change the world, both in wrestling and in other areas. Dr. Norman Borlaug and both Harold and Don Nichols were part of this team.

At the state meet the team experienced some upsets and although they had won the district only Don Maland captured the Gold Medal.
