Welcome to the Taiora Section. I changed and added to this since I have been a little busy and behind on the world of digimon. Evidence for this couple is very solid, especially since they start going out and hold hands and everything..... shesh.... how much more evidence do people need? But anyway this is my second favorite couple, and the first one I ever liked from the show. ^_^ Read on! How It All Started There was really NOOOO problem finding evidence on this couple. It's pretty clear they have a THING for each other. The page is dedicated to pointing out all the little things that suggest that they like each other. First I will explain how it all started. Tai and Sora went to the same school and both loved soccer. The only problem is Tai is on the boy's team and Sora is on the girls team. Apparently, Sora was SOOOOOO good at soccer they moved her to the boys team where she met Tai. They became good friends, but Tai kept it secret and didn't tell anyone because for fear of being teased by the other boys (oh geese -o-).  Then they were transported to the Digi-world. They were still good friends (can't you tell, their ALWAYS standing next to each other) and Tai also said about Sora that she's "Pretty cool!....For a girl," which we can all say is a complement coming from Tai. In the digiworld apparently Tai started to feel stuff for Sora causing them not to be friends, well not in the same sence. This explains why Tai's best friend is now Matt, and Sora's is Mimi. If you can't tell Sora is always the most worried about Tai when he's in trouble and Tai seems to be VERY protective, not just of Kari, but of Sora!!!(of course)!!!
Evidence Ever couple has there own sort-of fairy tail, prince and princess story right? Even Tai and Sora. Their's, of course, is when Datamon kidnapped Sora. This is the perfect display of their affection. First when Sora is taken you can hear her yell a muffled, "Tai!" That evening because he couldn't save Sora, Tai crys (how sweet!). The next day, Tai overcomes his fear just to save Sora and rescues her, single-handedly..  Tai also doesn't seem to mind when Sora grabs on to him when they are swallowed by Whamon. In "Sora's Crest of Love" Tai was VERY determined to find Sora, was upset when Sora yelled at him, tryed REALLY hard to help Sora, and was the only one who could feel Sora's love. Oh and when Garudamon carrys them away, Tai is next to Sora and Matt is next to Mimi ^_~. Also when Mammothmon attacked and was fighting Garudamon, Mammothomon knocked down boulders that were about to fall on Tai and Sora. Garudamon covered them so they wouldn't get hit with the boulders and when she moved away, Tai was covering Sora to protect her. ^_~ Do you remember when Tai got sent back to the real world after defeating Etamon and leaving everyone behind? The others spent a long time looking for them right?! Well after a while the kids started to give up hope, but not Sora. She left with Biyomon to find him 'cause she didn't want to give up hope. After that, the remaining kids started looking for Sora not Tai. Remember in Togemon in ToyTown when they were in the sewers and Sora started crying. Did you notice how Tai was staring at her, for a VERY long time. He looked like he was worried about her and was hurt because she was crying. Oh so cute *starts jumping up and down* !! I think all this evidence has proven pretty-much that they really care for each other. For example in the episode when Tai acts stupid *sigh*  and causes greymon to digivolve into SkullGreymon. When Tai was about to run out to Greymon to make him digivolve, Sora tried to stop him, but she let him go 'cause he kept yelling. Or in The Piximon Cometh, Tai is pulled under the sand by Kuwagumon and you right before Piximon comes you can see Sora yell "HELP" because Tai is in trouble. And one more example in the episode when Tai is transported back to the real world after defeating Etamon. After he and MetalGreymon are sucked through the hole and it disappears. Everyone yells "Tai" but then Sora yells a lone, "Come back," after everyone else with a sort-of lost or longing tone in her voice.In the episode "Etamon's Comeback Tour" Sora doesn't agree with Tai's decision because she doesn't think it's safe. When everybody leaves Sora just stands there and Tai notices and asks what's wrong. She tells him and he said that if anything happens he'll stay and fend of Puppetmon while the others get away. Then he said, and i quote "I won't let anything happen to you." It's just so sweet the way he said it *starts jumping up and down* and it's just another example of how protective he is of Sora. They're just SOOOOO cute! We all know that Tai is VERY protective of Kari (in season 1 that is) and do u remember in brother's keeper, kari was sick so Tai didn't want to leave him?!?! But of course the only person he could trust her with was sora and when he left he said, "at least i know i'm leaving her in good hands." The evidence just keeps getting better and better and better, i sware!!!!! 
Well anyway, In the second digimon movie, Tai accidentaly *spelling? oh well* hurts Sora's feelings so he types an appology e-mail to her. Kari then walks into the room and asks Tai what he's doing. He says he's doing nothing while using his elbow to send the message and hid it from Kari's view. His elbow slips while he's sending the message and that messup causes a little heart to appear at the end of the message. When Sora recieves it, she see's the heart, and smiles and blushes and giggles ^_^Tai and Sora go out it 02! I never thought he'd get the nerve to ask her! But really, what more evidence do you need? They're head over heels for each other. OHHHH STUPID SORA STUPID SORA!!!! did u see it?!?!? episode 38 i think it is, the christmas episode... with sora and the cookies for matt....SORRRAAA u broke his heart....... :( i don't believe it... well for those of u who don't know, Tai asked sora who she was going to the Matt's concert with (hinting towards him) and Sora replied "well i want to stay free in case Matt is open after the concert" .... (argh) and so he gets all sad lookin and is like "oh Matt huh.." and shes says i'm sorry. And then Agumon (who saw the whole thing) said to sora "at least u can leave us the cookies" (she was holding a can of cookies for Matt) and she said they were for Matt but that she would make an extra bunch for Tai and Agumon. And Tai said in the saddest most love sick voice, "i'll be waiting...." ..... i donno what to say But at least we officially know that Tai likes Sora, and Sora has given several hints that she likes Tai. Maybe she just won't admit it. Well wake up sora, and do it before the season ends. |
