This is Amy. She is UNFORTUNETLY no longer with us, but still in our hearts and memories.
She is a incredibly friendly cat who thinks people more important than food, and is so completely free of cat-like instincts that she will sit on a the lawn and wash herself while the birds eat the bread not 2 feet from her nose.
One of her early habits was that she liked to carry things in her mouth, pens, hair clips, bouncy balls that were thrown to her . . . but her greatest effort on this front was one night when we heard a crash from the bathroom and got up to find the cat coming down the hall toward us with my husband's toothbrush in her mouth. Needless to say she wasn't holding it by the handle end :o)
The cat doesn't have a name. My husband and I couldn't agree on one and
we were still trying to make up out minds six months after we got her
when we realised that she wasn't *actually* suffering too much from
lacking a name. Hence she is just 'the cat' in our household.
