Sometimes I have a daydream
In which you play the star.
It shows the way I picture you
And everything you are.
It shows you coming towards me
With a certain look in your eyes.
Then you take me in your arms
Without ever telling why.
You move your hand along my cheek
And then you touch my hair.
All the while gazing in my eyes
With a look so full of care.
You gently pull my face to yours
Slowly our lips begin to touch.
If only you could fully know
Why I feel for you so much.
But then my daydream disappears
I no longer see your face.
But understand that when I dream
You will always have a place.
