I wanted to say,
"Don't ever leave me.
Please tell me you'll stay."
I wanted to hold you
I wanted to cry.
I wanted to shout out
"Don't tell me goodbye!"
I wanted to beg you
"Don't leave me alone."
Instead I just smiled,
Turned, and walked home.
