Part I
Under the Blue Moon
All by myself, alone in the dark
Sitting on the porch, thinking of the past
Reminiscing the memories,all my thoughts of you
All those happy moments, I wish I am with you!
It seems just yesterday, we two were together
Holding hands, eyes locked, exchanging smiles,
Those joys I felt, let Heaven abide!
You filled out my heart, please come back!
That night by the river, my gaze far way,
Above me was the full moon, beside me were the fireflies
My heart was nervous, my body was trembling
Worried so much I might not see you again
But when I heard your voice my heart leaped up!
I quickly turned around, my heart was beating fast!
I heard your footsteps, and then I saw your shadow
Under the moonlight, I then saw your form
But what did you tell me?! You said you're going away!
Those words pierced my heart, it seemed like time stopped
My mind got dizzy, my knees felt weak
Let alone the rush of wind, let alone the sound of silence
You hugged me so tight, then you said your goodbyes
You also said you love me, but why do you have to go?
And then you turned around, your back hidden in the shadows,
I can't believe what was happening, my world was about to end!
I slumped on the grass, my hands in my ears
I cried so hard, my body was trembling!
I extended my hand, i tried to reach for your shadow,
But I felt so helpless, I can't even move!
I haven't felt such sorrow, I haven't felt such pain
It semed that my heart was crushed and beaten!
I wished it so much that it was all but a dream
But a dream it was not, it was all but real
Part II
Journey in the Sunshine
The night had passed, the sun came up
But my heart still, was crying for that
I was lying alone, in the middle of my room
I was lying still, was I waiting for doom?
Gathering all my strength, I slowly got up
I gently walked to a run down path
I went to the garden, sat under the cherry tree
The petals of cherry blossoms, falling over me
The breeze touched my cheek, my gaze far away
I still kept on thinking what happened that day
My heart still in sorrow, my eyes still in tears
In that moment I forgot, how to send a smile away
My friends cheered me up, but I won't let joy in
My heart was locked up, tightened by a string
But then, suddenly, a friend came up
She stood next to me, and said how a fool I was!
"If you really love that man, then go and follow him
Don't just sit there and cry, moping all day!"
My emotions boiled up, I looked at her eyes
"You don't know how much it hurts, he said goodbye to me!"
She answered in return, with sadness in her eyes
"He said goodbye to you, but he didn't even said a word to me"
She then turned and walked away, with tears in her eyes
Her words kept on ringing in my mind
Like a bolt of lightning, my mind cleared up!
Now I know what to do, I'll folow my love!
No matter how long, no matter how far,
I'll go to him and pour out my heart!
I went on a journey, my body filled with sunshine
My path was now clear, a smile was on my face
I understand, all are just trials that we need to overcome
And now that I found him, I'll never let him go off my arms!
Now by ourselves, a couple in the dark
Gazing together at the stars up above
With smiles at our faces, wishing for joy
Touching the face of our new born boy
