We endure

But on a recent

Quite unpleasant

December day

When wind and rain

Pelted

The tailgate

Parties, Following

The game

-After rooting in

A losing cause

Again-

We had our beers

And cooked our burgers

Anyway; And without complaint

We endured

But we'd never seen a breeze

That could send our melting cheese

Into the air, with such ease -

And then we cursed out fate.
