We all left the station arm in arm, glad to move on and put the past days behind us. When we arrived back at the hotel, our bags were being loaded into the busses, so we all boarded them. AJ got on our bus, and we went to the back to talk. Summer was talking to Nick at the moment, so I didn't feel too bad about not spending the time with her. AJ and I made ourselves comfortable on the couch, laying down with his arms around me.
"You know what?" he asked me, kissing the top of my head.
"What?" I responded, content to lay there in his arms.
"I'm proud of you. It would have been really easy to walk away from the station today without talking to him, and just forget everything. But there would have always been something inside you that would have regreted it."
"Yeah. Besides, we needed that little chat..." I smiled to myself.
"Hey, I could hear through that door, you told him off. I'm proud of that. But I know now to stay on your good side. Yikes!" he laughed.
I turned to look at him. "You know what, babe? I really don't think that's going to be very hard for you to do... although you didn't exactly start out on my good side."
"What, you mean having to deal with a swarm of teenie-boppers fazed you? I find that hard to believe."
"It wasn't the fans, airhead," I laughed. "It was you just assuming that I would know who you were. You're not that huge of a celebrity!" I turned to look at him, and smiled at the look of mock shock on his face.
"Hey! That's not a very nice thing to say!" his eyes got big and round and his lower lip pouted out. It was really rather cute.
"Joke, Jay. Geez..." I laughed. I sat up a little, leaning on his chest. He batted his long eyelashes at me, and I leaned in towards him, coming nose to nose. "Forgive me?" I begged softly, my own eyes getting bigger.
"Hell, yes!" He laughed, pulling my face to him. "Always." he whispered, before kissing me hard on the lips. I moaned softly, letting my hand caress his chest and shifting to get more on top of him.
Our kiss broke, and he groaned softly. I scooted downwards, sitting on his hips, where I pulled his shirt up to allow my hands access to bare skin. He pulled his shirt off over his head, as I ran kisses all over his chest. He made little content noises as I kissed him all over, and he placed his strong hands in my hair, tangling his fingers in my curls. I looked up at him, and smiled, placing my hand over his heart. He put his hand on top pf mine, hooking fingers, and whispered gently.
"It's yours, baby. All of me is." I trembled at the words, and took his hand to my face, kissing the tips of his fingers.
"So now I'm a bodyguard and a heart guard too?" I smiled wickedly, as I moved his hand to the hem of my shirt. "What is your job?" I asked, as his fingers moved up under my shirt.
He smiled back at me. "I think your heart needs a little guarding too." He responded, sitting up. He kissed me again, harder. I leaned into him and felt his fingers on my back, softly touching me. He moved his lips to my shoulder, pushing the neck of my shirt out of his way. I felt his warm mouth on my skin and moaned, nibbling his earlobe.
"oh, Cass..." he gently said, as his hands explored my body. I leaned back and looked at him.
"I love you, heart, body and soul. You know that, AJ. And I want you, but not like this." I said softly, touching his face gently.
"I'll make it special when you're ready, baby, I promise you." I kissed him again, shivering all over. He laid back down, taking me with him. I lay my cheek against his chest and felt my heart fill. I ran my thumb in small circles across his smooth skin, as he played with my hair, content. We slept that way until the bus stopped at out next city, Whistler BC. It wasn't a very long drive, but long enough to get a good sleep. The scenery, when we were wakened by the bus stopping, was very different from what we had just left.
Were were in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, and it was breathtaking. AJ found me standing my the door to the bus, looking out. We were parked at one of the ski resorts that operate during the off-season, and the view was amazing. He wrapped his arms around me and we stood there in silence. I turned to him, with a peaceful look on my face. "Any hope of getting a ride up there?" I asked him. He smiled and looked up.
"I'll see what we can do."
