Eric and Greta went to the ball hosted by the Duke and Duchess. Greta was to pretend to be Hope's daughter and go along with the charade of Hope being Princess Gina. At the ball, Eric and Greta meet Greta's old flame Nathan. Nathan obviously wants Greta and Eric doesn't like the idea of that. Eric doesn't like Nathan and Nathan doesn't like Eric. While Greta is outside having a little argument with Stefano about her mother, Eric is inside being questioned by Nathan about his relationship with Greta. Eric tells him it's none of his business, but also tells him about what happened to Greta while in the Bayou. Eric then gets away from Nathan and goes to find Greta. He finds her in the garden with Stefano and the two fight. Eric warns Stephano to say away from Greta. After Stefano leaves, Eric tells Greta that he doesn't like Nathan and fills her in on Nathan's questioning him about their relationship. Greta asks him what he told him. They are unsure of where their relationship stands. Eric leans in to kiss Greta when she drops a wine glass. The moment is broken. They go back inside after having a little talk with Nathan. Eric and Greta go back in to talk and mingle with a few people and then come back to PG's castle in the country. That same night, Eric finds a photo album of Greta when she was young. Greta takes it from him and he runs after her to get it. He grabs her up in his arms and trys to get the album from her, but soon realizes that their faces are really close. Greta moves away trying to change the subject, but Eric kisses her and she responds. Greta admits she has never been kissed, and he tells her how beautiful she is. They talk about things and when Greta starts the subject of Nicole again, Eric tells her that it is over and leaves.
