The Old Rugged Cross
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering and shame.
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best, For a world of lost sinners was slain.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross.
Til my trophies at last I lay down. I will cling to the old rugged cross And exchange it some day for a crown.
Oh that old rugged cross so despised by the world. Has a wonderous attraction for me.
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above To bear it to dark Calvary,

Easter ~ A time to celebrate that Jesus did arise from the dead. He died for us you know. but Easter proves that even death could not keep him from his Father in heaven.So you see he had to rise after 3 days to go to heaven and make a place for us. He does Love us So Much!
Spring~
A time for all things new. Look around you outside. New life is growing. You can see it from the new flowers to the tree buds. Springtime. Ohh the smells~ and sights. Birds returning home. Baby animals coming out and about.
