Shane's Domain!

Pika...CHUUUU!!! Welcome one and all to my Pokémon page! My name is Shane Davis, and I am a 13 years old Pokémon Master! I live in Grants Pass Oregon, and I am in the 8th grade. This page is dedicated exclusively to Pokémon, their trainers, and Pokémon researchers (including Prof. Oak). If you are looking for something other than Pokémon, you can look at my Game Domain here. It has lots of great info, links, and game recommendations for nearly all systems.
This page will always be under construction. I am currently working on an Faq which will soon be posted for anyone to use. I am also putting together a picture archive, all Pokémon pix of course. Feel free to email me for or with tips, hints, codes, whatever, and with your permission, I'll post them. I will be updating all the time, so check back soon! Enjoy my site, and...

What's New in PokéLand...

The new Pokémon Movie that we have all been more than patiently waiting for is here!!! November 10th is when it hit the theaters in North America, and later it will be worldwide, except Asia. It began with a 22 minute little flick called "Pikachu's Vacation". The feature has stars like Mewtwo, and four brand new Pokémon!!! The featured presentaion is, of course, "Pokémon: The First Movie". Here are a few clips of "Pikachu's Vacation".

In "Pokémon: The First Movie", Ash Ketchum continues his quest to be not only a pokémon master, but the greatest Pokémon trainer in the world. The plot thickens when Ash's greatest challenge ever is Mewtwo (a bio-engineered pokémon) and the strain of 'Super Pokémon' he created for the ultimate pokémon battle!!! Don't miss it... Long live Pokémon!!! uhh, sorry, hehe. For more information, just click on either icon.

Pretty cool site all about the movie.

For all of you who think Mariu's name is Pikablu, you're wrong...for all who think Buru's name is Bruno, you're wrong too. Pikablu's official American name is Maril, and Bruno's is Snubble. Just had to clear that up!

So far, I have found the legend of pokégods to be false. I still think that there may be a code out there that works, but I haven't found it yet. If you think you know a code that is valid, please share the wealth!!!

Pokémon Gold and Silver: These games, which have a release date of Summer 2000 , are bound to be totally cool! They are for all gameboy systems, and your PC. The difference between Gold & Silver and original (red, blue, yellow) is that they will include both male and female of every pokémon, and there will be 250 different species, which adds up to a whopping 500 Pokémon!!!

Pokémon Yellow: Ok, all I have to say about this game is that is a trainer's dream come true. The new Pokémon Game for Gameboy, the Special Pikachu Edition, is totally awsome!!! Well, actually, I guess it's really not much different than Red or Blue version, but who can get enough Pokémon? You can get just the game, or Nintendo has a special offer: yellow gameboy and Pokémon Yellow "package" for about $99. I am working on it right now, and I will probably add a hints/tips section for it soon. If you have any questions, email me and I'll try to help you out. I found a pretty good FAQ/Walkthrough at Gamefaqs. If you don't yet have this game, what the heck are you waiting for! Catch 'em All!

Many, if not all, of the pokémon look different- as in much better. AND, Pikachu follows you around, just like in the cartoon, and Team Rocket's Jesse and James are in it too! This version is a must have!

Pokémon Card Game for Gameboy Color: I recently looked at the Nintendo Power mag., and saw that Pokémon Card Game has a release date of Winter 2000. However, the only info I have on this game is limited. It is basically the actual card game, made for the Gameboy. Vwala!

Pokémon Stadium: Release date= Winter 2000. This game is going to rock Pokéland! Actually, Pokémon Stadium for the US is really Pokémon Stadium 2 for Japan. I think the coolest parts of Stadium, is that our lovable Pokémon (all 150, of course) will be looking like real Pokémon! Nin64, baby. Also, you can transfer the data in your Red or Blue version to the Nin64, using an adapter that comes with it. Get your pokémon in ship shape, trainers! Here are a few screen shots:

Products:
Many Pokémon products have become extremely popular among us pokéfans. The greatest, are possibly the trading cards. There are videos, music, toys, video games, players guides, stuffed animals, candy, trinket such as keychains and yo-yos, and much much more. However, the rumor is that Team Rocket has been trying to cash in on poké-products. Make sure that the goodies you are buying are official pokémon toys! The real deals will have: c1995, 1996, 1998 Nintendo, CREATURES, GAME FREAK. 'TM' and 'R' are trademarks of Nintendo. Also, look for the Nintendo Seal of Quality!
Lots of cool pokémon toys, including Pokémon Yellow, can be caught online for reasonable prices at etoys. Check it out!

Super Smash Brothers: This game has been out for a while, but since this is a site dedicated to pokémon, it is only fair to include this game as a hit. It includes two of our favorite little pokémon: Pikachu and Jigglypuff. It is a really great fighting game...(once again) check it out!

EXTRA! EXTRA! After hours of thinking about it, I've decided to add a Pokémon fan Club, A download section, and a message board. So, keep checking back for updates!

Hints, Tips, Cheats, and More!

99 of ANY ITEM: Put the item you wish to duplicate on the sixth place on the item menu, then fly to Viridian City. Talk to the man who shows you how to catch pokémon. Reply "no" to his question, and watch him catch a weedle. Then fly to Cinnabar Island, and surf up and down the coastline (so you're just barely in the water, and pretty much touching the land). When a letter 'M' or 'missingno.' appears, either fight it or run away. Go to the sixth item on the item menu... do you see a little box next to the number? You have maxed out the item! Note: This may erase your game and does NOT work in the Yellow version.

Catch a RARE Pokémon Easily: When trying to catch a rare pokémon such as Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres, save before talking to them. That way, you have unlimited chances to catch them!

Get Mew with Gameshark: Enter this Code: 0115D8CF Go to a grassy area. The fist pokémon you see will be a Mew. I suggest you catch Mew in the unknown dungeon, since his level will be up to around 52 there.

For more gameshark codes, you can either ask me, the Pokémon Master, Or you can go to Game Sages for ALL the goods...
