(I am writing this story while listening to Marc Anthony's "You Sang to Me" and "My Baby You". Enjoy! ^__^)
James sighed as he stared out at the scenery outside the bedroom window. He had taken the liberty of making a romantic candlelit dinner for him and Jessie, and he was looking forward to seeing her. Now, he was waiting for her get ready.
"This night is the best night of my life," he said to himself. "Jessie is so angelic, it makes me tingle all over! I could tell from the start that our relationship was going to work! It was just a matter of time before she realized it too!"
Several minutes later, Jessie came out of the bathroom. She was dressed in a lovely black dress. Her long, red hair was done up and she looked absolutely beautiful. James couldn't help but smile when he saw her in her splendor.
"Oh, Jessie," he said. "You look wonderful!"
Jessie smiled. "Thank you, James! I knew that this was a special occasion! So, I decided to dress for it!"
"I love it when you wear that outfit, Jess," said James. "It makes you look ten times more attractive than you already are!"
"So," said Jessie. "What's the occasion anyway?"
"I cooked us a special dinner," said James, pulling out a chair for her. "It's your favorite! I know it's mine too! Sit down and I'll dish it out!"
Jessie then took a seat while James brought out the food. Her dazzling sapphire eyes met his emerald green ones as he dished it out. The two lovestruck teenagers kept their eyes on each other throughout the whole meal. Then, James got an idea. Reaching over, he turned on the boombox and it started playing NSYNC's "This I Promise You" .
"You sly fox," said Jessie. "How'd you know that was my favorite song?"
"Lucky guess?"
"I can read you like a book," said Jessie. "Now, tell me truthfully, how did you know that song was my favorite?"
"I too can read you like a book, Jess," said James. "And I knew that you liked this song! May I have this dance?"
Jessie smiled at him. "Of course!"
Then, they started dancing to the music and all the while, they gazed lovingly into each other's eyes. In the midst of the dance, James kissed his beloved Jessie tenderly on her lips. They held it for several minutes until they finally broke it off.
"I love you, Jessie!"
"I love you too, James," said Jessie. "I want this moment to last forever!"
"It will," said James. "As long as we're together, this moment will last for a lifetime!"
Then, they kissed again, knowing that their pact was a mutual one and that they'd always be together for all eternity.
