== FOUR DAYS LATER ==
Jesse looked at the Panel, “Dr. Misty P. Waterflower-Oak-Ketchum (A MOUTHFUL, ISN’T IT? I FEEL SORRY FOR MISTY! [RS]). Water Pokémon specialist. This is the place.” Jesse walked to the door, and knocked.
Eventually a familiar face answered the door. “What do you want?” snarled Misty.
“I’m looking for my Husband. Have you seen him lately?” replied Jesse.
“No. Have you seen mine lately?”
“No, I haven’t.”
“That’s odd.” Misty’s voice seemed to change.
“A little too odd, if you ask me.”
“Can I come in?”
“Sure, you look soaked.” Jesse made her way in, where Misty shut the door. Misty continued; “So, you’re husband has disappeared in the last few days too?”
“Uh-huh.”
“What reasons did he have for leaving?”
“Well he said he had some old Team Rocket reunion, up in Viridian. That was two days ago. But surely he would be back by now.”
“Well Ash disappeared after his lab was broken into. He said even though there was an investigation, he had some presentation up in Pewter.”
“Ash’s lab was… broken into? When?” Jesse asked, thinking back to two days ago…
== TWO DAYS AGO ==
“Well honey, all set for your reunion?” asked Jesse.
“Yeah, It’ll be nice to see some of the old gang again.” replied James, hoisting a bag into the passenger seat of their car.
“Be sure to say hi from me.”
“Okay… you just rest up and Maria will take care of any problems you have. I’ll be back tomorrow, with all the news from the past 10 years.”
“Bye bye love, see you tomorrow!” smiled Jesse, before giving James a kiss on the cheek. It was then that she noticed something odd, as he leapt into the driver’s seat of the car…
== TWO DAYS LATER (BACK TO REALITY) ==
“We don’t know who did it, but they stole all the data files and erased them from the hard drive.” Misty said.
“Oh, I’m sure our boys will be alright, they probably have got side-tracked.”
“Yeah… by the way, how’s it coming along?”
“What?”
“You know…”
“Soon.”
“Really? I’d never had guessed!”
“You think?” Jesse blushed at the thought that she had not got fat.
“I swear. If it hadn’t been for the invite, I swear I wouldn’t have known.”
“Wow…”
“Let me give you some advice. At first, they’re hell. But it all pays off as they get older.”
“Well, you should know… what with your Tommy.”
“Hmm…”
“How is he?”
“He’s in his final year now.”
“Oh, wonderful.”
“Ash still says we should let him do it himself, like what he did.”
“Well we all know your Tommy, wouldn’t last five minutes.”
“Too right.”
“But, your Tommy chose Pokémon Tec, so why stop him from getting the best education he can get?”
“Yeah… By the way, have you thought of names for your child?”
“Devlyn if it’s a boy, Arakida if it’s a girl.”
“Arakida?”
“It was my grandmother’s name.”
“Oh.”
Jesse looked at her watch, “Hey, could you turn the news on?” she asked.
“Sure.” Misty leant over and switched it on. The newscaster stared directly to the camera and began to read the news.
“Good Afternoon and welcome to Channel 37 News. I am Brock Kiritashi. Tragedy today as former Team Rocket leader Giovanni Anderson was sprung from the high security prison. I have police chief Jenny in the studio. So, ma’am, who do you believe were responsible for this shocking incident?”
A Jenny, looking like all the rest began to speak; “We believe that the persons responsible for this incident were none other than the Team Rocket agents we know only as ‘S & K’. A security camera was able to catch a brief glimpse of what these two look like.”
A picture was shown on the screen. Both Misty & Jenny examined closely, where Jesse began to choke on the air she was breathing.
“What is it?” asked Misty, shocked my Jesse’s reaction.
“I know who those are…” Jesse whimpered.
“Who?” Misty asked… that was until she realised that she knew one of the faces…
