James is about 17 years old, according to Pokemon in the USA but is 21 in the Team Rocket CD drama. We will round like with Jessie and say he's 19. His eyes are green and hair's lavenderish. And from what we've seen, he's definitely not flabby but actually has a nice body.
Born into a rich family, James was engaged to a Southern belle named Jezebel. Jezebel was totally overbearing and her job was to make James 'a proper gentleman'. Apparently James didn't like this (who would?) and he ran away from home, leaving his family, Jezebel and Growly, his pet Growlithe and only friend. This Jezebel just happens to look like Jessie.
On Children's day, he got the day off of school and got to eat all the ice cream sandwiches that he wanted. But he was lonely on the estate. He would go fishing in his pool...what kind of logic did his parents have? Or maybe he was the one who thought there were fish in the pool...
During grade school, he was the champion stand-up poet and won the Golden Tongue award 3 years in a row.
He failed out of Pokemon Tech along with Jessie with the lowest score in the history of the school and then joined the Sunnytown bicycle gang with the nickname, Little Jim/Trainer Jim.
He and Jessie then joined Team Rocket where they became partners and met Meowth.
James has this special power in which whenever he kicks of Magikarp, it evolves into a Gyrados. He also constantly gets tricked by the Magikarp salesman.
James has two Pokemon, a Weezing and a Victreebel. The Weezing evolved from a Koffing he had recieved for Christmas. It's unknown where he got the Victreebel, although it's rumored that he caught it in the Safari Zone (Legend of Dratini). James is forced to trade his Victreebel by Jessie and Meowth but he ends up with another Victreebel (a girl one). Things happen and the two Victreebel fall in love and leave. Weezing leaves as well along with Arbok to take care of the Koffings and Ekans that were being poached. James currently has a Cacnea and a Chimeco. And we can't forget Growly.
James is known for his crossdressing and of course, that leads to thoughts that he may be gay. No hard evidence. Who really cares. He doesn't seem to be doing it anymore though.
He doesn't like taking control in a lot of things but he has his times. He acts like a total goofball most of the time which is totally cute. Inside, he's really still a kid. Plus, he likes collecting bottle caps. And he's known for carrying around a rose, but this was more normal towards the beginning of the series. It's learned later that the red rose to James symbolizes the blood that runs through all of us. How philisophical.
