I Love You Anyway
You dwell here in your tormented reality,
Blaming ever living creature,
Every little vibration,
Me,
That upsets you,
Brings you back to where you think you ought to be.
But I love you anyway.
As you cry here in your lonliness,
Not letting one heart,
One soul move toward you, to reach out to you and help you.
You're so closed off it's rediculous.
Thinking that something so small could
Break your heart.
But I love you anyway.
This psychotic, twisted life you're living,
Beaten by your past,
Frightened of your future.
The words cumple up into one, long,
Neverending song,
Plagued by one million of your drowning tears.
But I love you anyway.
And your hardened heart penetrates fear into all.
You bash me in the head with it and then laugh while I bleed,
As I fall to my knees from your destruction,
Pleading for peace in your unmerciful notion.
But I love you anyway.
You lag behind in that small, desolate world you call your own,
Crying and dying all the memories of the past,
Teasing you,
Forsaking you,
Spinning you around so fast . . . so fast.
And you claim it's your childhood
That drove you insane,
Made you hurt,
Made your pain.
And yet, you don't see the light I have given you,
How easily I could help you.
But you won't let me come near you.
I can save you,
Help guide you,
Be with you all the way.
But you show your distruction
As you continue spinning in your little cycle,
Cynicle, yet beautiful, and lost within a dream,
Twirling that bit of hair as your mascara runs it's stream.
You know you're everything I need,
Everything I want.
You know this and still you push me away,
Block me out,
Build a wall around that vunerable heart of yours.
But I love you anyway.
I always will.
