A shot rang out through the night sky. A gun shot. Jessie got up and ran as fast as she could towards the red jeep Team Rocket always drove. Then she stopped. Her heart pounding like a drum. She had been hit. The bullet had gone through her neck. Blood was pouring out of it, covering her face and body with it. She fell to the ground, screaming while she was dieing for help. She felt the cold, steel bullet in her neck.
James had been walking to the car when he saw Jessie laying there. He almost fainted in shock, but somehow didn't. He ran to Jessie's side. "Jessie, Jessie! Don't die Jessie, I need you!" He started sobbing but tried to hold back the tears. He ripped a part of his sleeve off and tied it around Jessie's neck, cradling it in his arms, gently stroking her hair. Jessie was dieing. But he couldn't move her because that would just make her bleed faster. Now her blood was all of him, but he didn't care. He started to scream for help. "James..... let me die" Jessie managed to say. "What?! I would never let you die! Jessie.......I love you!" James said. Jessie looked up at him with her glazed blue eyes. "I love you too!" She said, and kissed him softly on the lips. James kissed her back. But Jessie had almost lost all of her blood. James cradled her in his arms and got her into the jeep. He slammed on the pedal to the Celadon Hospital, the closest hospital available. In the ER, James waited in the waiting room, paceing back and forth. It was 3:00 at night and no one was there. What seemed like days passed, and finally one of the nurses came out. "Um, Sir, please come this way" she said, leading him into the ER. In the room, Jessie lay on the bed, unconciess. James sat next to her in the chair and held her cold hand. He stayed with her all night, praying she was going to get better.
