"Hello, and welcome to the Jerry Springer show...." said the man himself.

He gave a long speech about how we acn't force our children to do any thing, but espcially not defy love. It was all very boring, and if the cameras weren't on James, beaming live picture to the whole country, he would be asleep.

Just then, Jerry intoduced her- it, thing-Jezebell. As she walked on, both Jessie and James gave her evil glares, Jessie because she may have never had a chance with James if she had had her way, James because, well, she's Jezebell, need I say more? Any way on she came and sat down next to James (a little too close to James for Jessie's liking,) and gave him one of her smiles.

Jerry started to ask her loads of questions- James didn't know what they were, because he started to think about how he was going to do his big moment. As usual, he had a rose with him, should he give it to on one knee? Or should he...

"James!"

He jumped. Jerry had just asked him how long he had been engaged to Jezebell.

"About 10 or 12 years, Jerry."

"How did you react when you found out about it?"

"I was naturally very upset. I wanted to be free."

"But what did you do?"

James dropped his head pausing. The eyes of Jerry, Jezebell, Jessie, the studio audience and half the country were on him.

"I ran away," he replied, "and turned to a life of crime-well, Team Rocket."

The audience gasped.

"But I don't regret it. I don't regret giving up my rich life style for nothing. Because it gave me so much more."

"Oh yes? Ad why is this?"

"Because I met my girlfriend, Jessie. She's in the audience right now. Come on Jess, come down here angel."

Jessie looked shocked but picked her way through the audience and down the stairs. Still scared, she took James' offered hand and walked mid-stage. Shaking and sweating, James put his hand in his pocket and pulled out two things. One was his traditional rose, the other the small, black, velvet box. Giving Jessie the rose, he got down on one knee and the words we all want to hear.

"Jessie, I love you more than any thing else in the world. Will you marry me?"

She gasped as he lifted the lid on the box. Inside was her engagement ring- one light blue stone, one pinky red one, and two diamonds either side. He pushed it onto her finger, then she kissed him passionatly.

Just as they were getting into it, Jezebell grabbed Jessie's straps, pulled her away, turned her around and slapped her hard.
