Jessie's P.O.V. :

::writing in her diary::

I can't believe how marvelously lucky I am. James has been with me for so long... and it took me until just now to realize how devoted he is to me. I can't understand how someone like me is good enough for someone like him. He's there for me to hold onto when I get scared, when we're celebrating, sad, or just for comfort.

James leaned toward Jessie.

"Hey, Jess, whatcha writing?" James asked, trying to peek at it.

"Oh, umm, nothing," Jessie said, nervously pulling her diary to her chest.

"Aww...lemme see!" James teased, trying to pull it away.

"No! It's nothing!" Jessie said defensively, pulling away again. James made a sad face.

"Okay, sorry Jess," he said.

"No...I'm sorry James. I didn't mean to yell." Said Jessie. James smiled his special humble smile that he reserved especially for Jessie, who blushed and looked away, going back to writing.

He's so bad! I just want to tell him that I'm madly in love with him....and kiss him all over! But I just can't find the words, the right time, and I don't think he could possibly love me back....but I'm going to do something soon, I just know it...

"Jessie?" James said abruptly. Jessie looked up.

"Yes, James?"

"Are you ok?" asked James. Jessie smiled.

"Of course. Why?"

I dunno...you just look like you've got something troubling on your mind...I do." He looked down, and his lavender hair fell to hide his face.

"What is it, James?" Jessie asked, getting a little closer to James, who looked up into her eyes soulfully.

"Jessie...you're....I..." James was at a loss for words, so he nervously leaned forward and kissed Jessie on the cheek lightly. Jessie gasped and put her hand to her cheek lightly, with her eyes sparkling.

"Jessie...I'm sorry...but...I love you."

"Oh, James...do anything but be sorry." Jessie pulled James' face to her and kissed him passionately. When she broke the kiss, James was purely stunned.

"Jessie...you really...?"

"Yes, James, I love you. I love you more than life itself. I loved you the very second I saw you I just felt scared to tell you because... well, I was shy and nervous...and I was always so mean to you. I'm so sorry..." Jessie sighed, looking down. James took her hands into his and looked deep into her eyes.

"Jessica...none of that matters. You weren't mean, I think you were just trying to cover things up. I suspected that awhile ago...but I kept quiet because I wasn't sure," said James.

"Oh, James...you read me like a book." Jessie said, leaning in and kissing him again. Suddenly Meowth walked in, and his eyebrows hit the ceiling.

"Um, sorry...I can come back later..." He said, giving a nervous laugh and blushing furiously, then he quickly backed away and out of sight. Jessie and James sat for a few minutes with their arms around each other, trying to think of what to do.

"Um...I think we'd better go explain?" Jessie said, starting to get up.

"Wait, Jess..." Said James, pulling her back down into another kiss.

"He'll figure it out." He said, smiling.

"Okay...Jessie giggled. She lightly stroked James, while he kissed her fingertips gently.

"James...I will always love you." Jessie said softly.

"My Jessica...I will be yours for eternity." James said soulfully, once again embracing his partner tenderly. She pulled him into a long, sweet kiss, both of them knowing they were made for each other, and that their firey passion would burn forever.
