I had been feeding my Arbok and Likitung when we saw the twerps. It was pretty early in the morning and they were still asleep under an old gnarled oak. I brushed back a strand of magenta hair that had come loose from its usual wave. James always says that when it's down, I look like an angel on earth, but it's too much of an annoyance to keep down everyday. James. My best friend, my soulmate, and so much more. I truly love him, but I guess I'm afraid too say it, afraid it would make me feel to vulnerable, too fragile, because if he said he didn't love me back, I know my heart would fly into a thousand pieces, like a piece of glass. Too many guys have dumped me before for me too just give myself to him that easily.

Anyway, as we were watching the twerps, Meowth got the idea to sneak up on them and try a sneak attack to get Pikachu. But as soon as we got within 10 feet of the oak, Pikachu woke up. I was in front, and I was the one who got thundershocked. I could feel the eletric current surge thourgh the very marrow of my bones. Then I collasped, and everything went black.

You showed me how it feels,

The first thing I heard when I woke was James's voice. He was crying. "James?" I asked. "Jessie! You're alive." I nodded and looked around. We were in the pokemon center ER.

"You were burnt up pretty bad Jess." James said quietly. "I hope you'll be ok!"

His words surpirsied me and frightened me. Had I really been hurt that badly? I tried to move my limbs, but my body immeditly began to throb with a terrible pain. I sucked in my breath. My last thought before I blacked out was, "Don't worry James. I won't leave. I can't. I can't! I CAN"T!!!"

Because I always saw in you my light, my strength,

You were right there for me.

"Jessica! Jessie! Don't leave me! Please! Remember all the times you helped me, like when that ghost of maidan's peak? You blasted her with that bazooka! Oh, Jess, you can't leave me! I love you!"

I opened my eyes at this. "Did you say you loved me?"

"Jessie! You're ok! Oh...umm...yeah..."

"Really?"

He looked at me steadily. "Yes. I love you."

"I love you too." I whispered happily.

I wanted the moment his lips touched mine to last forever.

In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky.
In my heart there always be a place for you,
For all my life.
I'll keep a part of you with me,
And everywhere I go there you'll be.
