They crept along in the shadows looking for a door. James was creeping along through a strange looking doorway when Meowth tackled him from behind

“Look out!” he screeched as they rolled across the floor

James looked back in time to see a small red wire in the door way. “What is that?” James asked quietly.

“An alarm. One movement and dey’ll be here immediately” Meowth explained“Ya gotta hand it ta dose two dey are careful but not careful enough look up dere”

James looked in the direction Meowth was pointing and saw a door.

“Dat’s probably where Jessie is,” Meowth thought aloud. “Well let’s go” James said walking toward it.

Meowth sighed he hoped Jess was there for his sake. Meowth scampered ahead of James and peered through the door sure enough there was Jessie she was unconscious and chained to the wall.

‘Oh shit’ Meowth thought ‘I can’t let James see her like this’

“Is she there?”James demanded “Uh yeah” Meowth said carefully “But ya shouldn’t come over here”

James’ eyes widened in surprise “Why not? What have they done to her?”He demanded

“Well I don’t know exactly but she’s knocked out and chained ta de wall” Meowth said going for the truth.

“What the hell do you mean unconscious?” James said.

‘Guess da truth wasn’t da best way ta go afterall’ Meowth thought

“We’ve got to get her out of there” James said as he rushed to the door.

“Shh ya need ta keep yer voice down before dey hear ya”Meowth hissed.

James took a deep breath “Look just help me” He said. Meowth nodded and unsheathed his claws and began picking the lock.

Soon the door swung open “Thank da lord for nail files” Meowth said examining his now blunt claws. James wasn’t around to hear the comment he had rushed to Jessie’s side as soon as the door swung open.

“Jess are you okay?” He asked lifting her head so he could look at her face. Her sapphire fluttered open slowly. “James” She said weakly.

“Oh Jessie I thought I’d lost you!” James cried hugging her tightly.

“Hey could ya save de reunion fer later we gottaget outta here” Meowth said jumping onto James shoulder and picking the locks on Jessie’s chains

“Can you walk?” James asked her once Meowth had finished. “I don’t know” Jessie said shakily. James picked her up gently

“Hey whydon’t ya ever carry Meowth” Meowth asked in a left out voice. James had to smile he knew Meowth was trying to make everyone feel better.

They left the small room Jessie had been in and made their way back toward a door Meowth had noticed when they had left their room. They made it safely out of the building and into some nearby woods.

“Is anybody else thinking dat dat was way too easy. Something is defiantly up.” Meowth said as they walked down a small path.

“You’re right Meowth” Jessie said she was walking now but was still a little unstable. Suddenly they heard the unmistakably sound of a helicopter coming toward them. James looked out into the field and saw it landing it was black with a red R on it. “Shit” all three former Rockets said in unison. The door opened and Giovanni stepped out followed by two guards one was dragging Cassidy and Butch who were tied up and not very happy.

“Huh?” Jessie, James, and Meowth all said this was strange. Giovanni laughed looking at the two unfortunate black squad members

“I told you to detain them not let them escape.” He said glaring at them.

“Sir with all due respect I checked their records and they didn’t do anything,” Cassidy said in a meek voice.

Realization struck Jessie “That’s why it was so easy to get out they let us escape.” She said amazed.

“Dey’re trying ta help us,” Meowth said in the same tone.

“Did I say you could speak” Giovanni demanded staring at her.

Cassidy stared back “You know maybe Jessie was right on this” She said.

“Cassie” Butch said trying to keep her from saying anything that would make the gun wielding Giovanni mad.

“Shut up” She snapped “Sir you really are a sick bastard”

Giovanni showed no emotion as he raised his foot and kicked her in the face.

“We should help them,” James said.

“What!”Jessie and Meowth said.

“They captured us and beat Jessie dey’re gettin what dey deserve” Meowth said.

“No James is right” Jessie said, “They let us escape and now they’re standing up for us. Even if we do hate them we have to help” The others nodded

“But how?” Meowth asked after a moment.

James pulled out a small gun “That’s how” He said.

Meowth nodded his head in satisfaction“Neva thought I’d see ya use a weapon” He said mostly to himself.

Jessie looked back into the field where it seemed Giovanni was trying to decide how to kill Cassidy and Butch.

“I’ll distract him” Meowth said scampering off into the clearing

“Hey Gio!” He yelled Giovanni turned to look at him

“Well glad to see you finally showed up. I’ll kill you once I take care of these two” He said.

“Meowth! I don’t think so! Dey helped us and now we’re gonna help dem and dere’s no way yer gonna kill Meowth” He said defiantly

“Oh really” Giovanni said as he pointed the gun at Meowth and fired.

The bullet missed his head but hit him in the shoulder.

“Meeeeeeoooooowwwth!” He screeched.

“Meowth!” Jessie and James both cried running to him. Jessie bent down beside him and picked him up

“Are you alright?” She asked.

Meowth smiled. “Neva better” He said weakly.

“You’ll pay for that,” James said aiming his gun at Giovanni and firing. The bullet hit Giovanni in the head killing him instantly he fell on Cassidy and Butch making the former scream.

James stood there surprised then he shot the two guards before they could leave. Jessie picked up Meowth and walked over to James and put a hand on his shoulder.

“Are you alright” She asked him.

“Yeah. Let’s go untie them they might appreciate it”

They went over and lifted Giovanni off Cassidy and Butch who by now had crimson uniforms instead of black.

“Thanks” Cassidy said a little hesitantly as Jessie helped her up.

“Why’d you help us?” Butch asked “I mean we were going to turn you into the boss and everything” he looked a little embarrassed

“Well you helped us by letting us escape and standing up for us it was the least we could do” James said.

They were all looking awkwardly at each other when a voice yelled at them “Hey guys!”

They looked up and saw Mondo in the Meowth balloon.

“Mondo what are you doing here?” Jessie asked surprised.

“Well” he said, “I saw them get arrested and I figured it had something to do with you guys. What happened to Meowth?”

Jessie sighed,“He got shot,” She explained

“Here use this potion to make the wound go away,” Mondo said holding out a bottle and gently pouring it on the wound which disappeared.

“I guess Team Rocket’s gone huh?” Cassidy said.

Everyone nodded.

“Guess this gives us a chance to start over” Jessie said.

Jessie and James got married and started a fashion business. Meowth lives with them and their three kids.

Mondo became the executive of their business and still has a crush on Jessie.

Cassidy and Butch got married and started a Pokemon-breeding center.
