CAROLYN BARTLEY '87
Carolyn Bartley was a varsity
field hockey standout at Hightstown High School from 1984 to 1986. As a sophomore, she was quickly recognized
for her ability by the Trenton Times, CVC, and the Central Jersey Field
Hockey Association. With her flashy red hair and her powerful hits, she could
not be missed on the field. As a midfielder, Carolyn directed the play of the team and was
recognized with All First Team Honors by the local papers, coaches, and Second
Team All State her junior year. During her senior year, she led the team in
goals scored. Carolyn achieved first Team All State All Group Honors as well
that year.
Carolyn was also a talented
athlete in softball and basketball earning varsity letters in both sports. Site
continued her education on an athletic scholarship for field hockey at the University of Iowa. While in college, she
achieved Academic All Big-Ten Team recognition and made it to the NCAA Final
Four three times. Presently, she lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband Fernando and her stepson,
Fernando. She has her own business as a professional massage therapist
