DAVID OLIVER COOPER "86
Cooper took the county diving world by storm when he entered Hightstown High School as a freshman. With a brand new pool to compete in, he started
racking up honors right away. As a freshman he was third in Mercer Co. and 12th
in the state. By his sophomore year he had moved to 1st in the County and 3rd
in the state. Improving to 2nd in the state his junior year and 3rd in the
Eastern Interscholastic High School Division, he continued his accomplishments to finish in the top 40 high
school divers in the United States by his senior year. He set two school
records with 281.20 points for six dives and 442.05 points for 11 dives. He was
captain his senior year and his recognition's include First Team All CVC, First
Team All Mercer, Zone I Top 12 Award NISCA Award, Top 12 in NJ and New England
David continued his education by earning a BA at the University of Virginia and a MBA at the University of Chicago. He presently lives in New York City and works as an independent consultation corporate governance.
