JACKIE HAMPTON '95

Jackie Hampton was a mainstay on the pitching rubber for three seasons on the Hightstown High varsity softball team. She pitched almost every game for three years and was always ready to play her best. Jackie pitched her team to a CVC title and into the finals of the Mercer County Tournament her senior year. Setting school records for strikeouts per season (169), and hits per game (5), she also recorded two no-hitters. As a result of her efforts, site earned First Team All CVC, and All Area, along with Second Team All State her senior year.

Because Jackie had many talents, she also excelled in field hockey and basketball as well as softball. As captain of all three teams, she was a fierce competitor and strong leader.

After Hightstown High, Jackie went on to Georgian Court College on a scholarship and excelled in softball where site was Rookie of the year in '96, most Valuable Player in '99 and All Conference selection in '99.
