Linda Sweeney Sisack excelled in Cross Country and Track all four years of her high school career. As a freshmen she made First Team CVC and All Mercer County First Team in Cross Country. This recognition was repeated each of her four years at Hightstown High School.
During Spring Track of
her freshmen year, she set CVC meet records for the 800 meter and the 4x400 meter relay and also set two school records. Each year she added more recognition and more school records to her list of accomplishments. She was a member of the first CVC Girls Track Championship Team. Linda was particularly strong her junior year in Spring Track where she was First Team A11'CVC in the 1600m and the high jump, First Place NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III Sectional Meet 1600m and 3200m, eighth in the State Meet of Champions for the 1600m and was voted the most valuable player in Mercer County by the opposing coaches. Linda still holds four school records in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m and the 4x4OOm relay.Linda continued her track career at Villanova University. She married Michael Sisack and they have two children Eric and Nathan who keep Linda very busy.
