Stan started the golf team at Hightstown High School in 1964. He then served as the team coach until his retirement in 1994. Over that period of time Stan compiled a career record of 367 wins and 215 losses. He secured 8 Colonial Valley Conference Championships as well as 3 Mercer County Championships.

Stan was instrumental in the development of golf at the high school level for all of Mercer County and was a prominent member of the Rules Committee of the Colonial Valley Conference. In 1994 Stan was awarded the NJSIAA Sport Award for Golf.

Stan is currently enjoying his retirement and continues to stay active as a player and a tournament director for various tournaments in Mercer County. Stan has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
