Nancy was an outstanding athlete in field hockey, basketball, and softball in high school As a starting varsity player from her sophomore year on, she achieved many goals and recognition in all three sports. Site was MVP for field hockey as a sophomore and went on to score 33 career goals. Her team won the Mercer County League Championship in 1974 and she was recognized as First Team All County. Because of her athletic abilities in all three sports, she was chosen Female Athlete of the Year for Hightstown High School in 1975.

She continued her field hockey career at Trenton State College and lead TSC in scoring her sophomore year. After graduating form TSC as a health and physical education major, site turned her field hockey interests to coaching and officiating. She has become one of the best officials in central Jersey. Nancy is married to Jim Kazior and has a son, Joseph.
