Jody Miller -'88

 

Jody Miller was a three-year varsity letter winner in soccer and a two-year varsity letter winner in softball. In 1985 she set a school record in soccer with 19 goals and 6 assists. She followed with 16 goals and 10 assists in 1986 and 19 goals and 11 assists in 1987. She held the career goals record of 54 until recently. She made All Conference and All County in 1985, 1986 and 1987 - Trenton Times and Trentonian.

As a standout softball player, she still holds the record for assists by a third baseman at 49 and homeruns in one game at 2. She led the team in the following categories: batting average -.411; runs - 26; RBIs - 21; stolen bases - 18; BBs - 17; hits – 30. She received All Conference and All County honors from the Trenton Times and the Trentonian.

Jody attended Rutgers University where she received the following honors for soccer: Gatorade All-American, 1991; Academic All American, 1992; Captain, 1993. Rutgers was the ECAC Champion 1989 - 1992.

As a "walk-on" for softball, Jody earned the following honors: Co-captain, MVP, Regional all-American, and various All Conference Team honors.

Jody currently lives in Mt Laurel and is a producer for NFL films. She continues to play softball and soccer on the semi-professional level.
