ALEX PASTORE '70

 

Alex Pastore played Varsity Baseball at Hightstown High School for 3 years. He was named Most Valuable Player in baseball those same three seasons. Alex received the following honors throughout his high school career: First Team All Delaware Valley, First Team All Suburban, First Team All Area, honorable mention All State. Alex was drafted by the Montreal Expos at the end of his senior year.

After graduation Alex played baseball at Miami Dade Junior College North for 2 years. He was selected All-Conference, All-State and Honorable Mention All-American. He then received a full scholarship to the University of South Alabama. At USA Alex held the record for career home runs (20). He signed a professional contract with the St Louis Cardinals and played 2 years of professional baseball reaching the Double A level

Since college Alex has worked as an oil and gas lease broker and part owner of a mortgage company. He currently resides in Mobile, Alabama with his wife Tricia and daughter Katie.
