strange message
Everyone in their lives, had once thought what it was like when u pass away, it had been an unknown world for thousands of years, no one’s been there and back as a trip to tell us, till one, raised from the dead…It had became a legend as years passed by, when a boy had once survived his dreadful nightmares and came back to the reality…
"I was dared by my best friend," Dusko looks over his shoulder and gave Luke the look of hatred and Luke return with a cheeky smile, "to eat a WAY overdue hamburger under his bed and suddenly I just found myself flying up through the ceiling and up, till there was a blur, a blur of white like blanket, I felt the softness of it, I felt like it was so far away, even further than the lunar main… and then this priest or something, he or she was so weird, so strange I can’t put it into English. The "thing" started saying the facts of my life, how I died at the age of 16 and blah blah blah, even worse then our history teacher!" Dusko described with a lot of hand actions, "and explained how I have two choices, either follow the rules and go to heaven and maybe get another chance at life but I won’t remember anything or take the risk of the love test which tests you on your heart and your believes but if you fail you will end up in hell forever and no chances of getting up again, ever. That’s for greediness.
"I had to come back for my girlfriend, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life, I had to apologise, we were in the middle of a huge fight, it had never been so emotional before" he looks down to his chest where Jen was lying, she smiled and kissed him, "There are so many things I can’t let go, so I was eager to take the risk and went through lots…
"I went through a patch of white cloudy atmosphere and ended up on a leviathan my parents were there and Jen, who, by my instincts, in that dream or whatever it is, was my wife… the leviathan was suddenly sinking and none of them three can actually swim, only I can, somehow, I don’t know why, even though in reality my dad is a champion when it comes to swimming. But I can only take one person with me to safety , I can only take one person with me I keep telling myself and the others that I left, will drown… within seconds there were only pieces of wood left… I had to make a decision fast, I suddenly have an idea in my mind Like they taught us in health, they use ropes around the person and drags. I can’t stand the thought of leaving any f them behind, so I quickly struggled to take my shirt off, tied it around my parent’s waists and carried Jen under my arm, told them to lie back, don’t panic and float then, to my surprise they were really listening to me, not like the ones in real life who panic and drown the person who’s saving them as well. I soon got to the other end on a platform of trees… it was really weird…"
"Jen and the others, including the sea vanished and I was alone, lost in a forest all of a suddenly…the whole place rotated around me, like I’m not standing on the land of fresh, bright green of the palms, it rotated non-stop, until it leaded me on a pavement towards a hut as I moved towards it, the surroundings around me sort of swollen and flexes around… it was scary I can tell u that! It felt as if the whole globe never existed… I walked and walked but I never got to the hut, I was exhausted but I still couldn’t reach the hut, it seemed as if the path never ends, I stared at the hut wondering… It was just there, I could see it, just over the top of this curved slope, only a couple metres away but it had taken me an hour and I’m still where I started. I told myself when I kneed down, this cannot be, it IS there, I kept staring at the pile of brown wood which stood against each other giving it a shelter, I glanced back, there the path heads far beyond the human eyes can reach. I started saying to myself "it’s there it’s really, it’s impossible NOT to get to it…" and I looked carefully and stared at the little old hut as I stepped cautiously forward one foot after another… making sure the hut was where it was before I took my step I was relieved when I finally got there, I assumed no one was inside so I opened the door and I got another request from the man above. But because of our timing, I won’t go through that one.
"Mr see-through creature told me the meaning of the three tests, they were to test my love for the people around me, see who I cared most, but it was like a question of yes and no but the right answer is neither of those. It’s like true or false but it’s neither you’re suppose to write ‘it wasn’t mentioned in the text’ and I have proved myself" Dusko said loud and proud.
"the second one of the forest was for my believes,my strenght, to fight what I believe is right, I’d done that too. The third one was to prove myself how I handle things under a certain situation, they gave me a couple and they were hard ones I have to say, like everyone aroundme were lying to me through my whole life they were just playing a joke on me and telling me who I am and who I should be… it was tough! And had to understand the meaning of life, it’s not just to increase the population and enjoy your live, there are lots of meanings, like keep peace in our world, to strenghten the weak and weaken the ones who look down on others, to love and not hate, there are heaps! But I luckily past,mostly because of my love for the people around expeacially Jenifer." Dusko holds Jen.
"Was the message from you though?" one asked
"message?"
"Yeah! The one where you said don’t bury me yet! I’ll be back and then you ended up comming back when we were just about t bury you in a coffin!"
"no.. I didn’t write any messages, too busy worrying about comming back to care about my body…mm… seems like it’s gonna have to stay as a mistery…weird…" Dusko stared plainly back at his friends.
There was silence for a couple of seconds everyone looking back at each other then suddenly all scrabble back in their sleepbag. Shivering as they covered themselves and feared of the world unknown which is ahead them…
