Special Spotlight: LIBERIANBOY

Liberianboy's Soccer Gallery

East Central Community College vs. Jones Community College. Jones won 3 - 2. I love the touchline. That play ended up with a cross from that wing.

ECCC (White) vs. Gulf Coast CC (Yellow) (Final Score: ECCC 3; Gulf Coast CC 2)
That was a perfect one-on-one situation. Guess who had the edge! If you guessed the guy in yellow, you guessed wrong. I dribbled him easily. By the way, I had two assists in this game. I had also gotten me a new haircut the day before. so, I was looking very sharp facially and skillfully. There just weren't many pretty girls around.

I am nicknamed, Liberianboy, or Mister Liberianboy, whichever one you prefer. I am not the people's favorite, like the former George Weah of Liberia.

Awards I Have Won To Date

Highest Scorer - 1998
Most Improved Player; Barnersville Township League - 1998
Most Valuable Player; Barnersville Township League - 1999
Assist Leader, ECCC Warriors, Mississippi - 2004
Distinguished Academic All-American (ECCC 2004)

The thing I like most about ECCC, it was a small school, but the community was very lovely. There were good and loving people that always cared and showed concern for you. Like the coach at ECCC, whom you'll see below, he's a nice man. This coach will always work with you as long as you are serious about your future. He helped me educationally, financially, socially, and in other aspects of life. we had a very good team. By this, I mean we had talented and skillful players, but did not play as a team during ball games. Can't blame anyone, it's nature.

Liberianboy of East Central CC vs. Holmes CC (2003 - 2004)

Above: The guy with #23 was put in to man-mark me. I am not being boastful, but he just couldn't. Even the substitute player for that wing still couldn't. I helped ECCC Warriors to a 3 - 1 victory that afternoon against Holmes CC.
Below: ECCC vs. Jones CC. (Final Score: ECCC 2; Jones 3). Not everyone who wears #14 is a copy of George Weah. This kid (with #14) felt supreme when he took the ball from me after I had lost my dribble. Come the other occasions, he felt that I was playing magic. I even made his glasses fall off his face.

Coach Kenneth Thompson of East Central Community College and me while I was thought of as signing a National Letter of Intent for Delta State University.

Liberianboy of Delta State University (Mississippi) vs. Union University (Tennessee) at Lambuth University Tourney in Jackson, Tennesee.
This time around, I am wearing #14. I am not George Weah.
